Moms in Prayer- food and fellowship

We gathered for our weekly prayer time and also had our once a month food and fellowship. It was sweet as we had 10 ladies join in prayer this morning. It was nice to have a group of ladies together in one room that the common thread of meeting with one another is recognizing  the need to pray for our children and the schools they are attending.

It was nice to have time to talk, encourage and deepen many relationships with the ladies. We had lots of great food and great conversations.

ohh my heart stirs with thankfulness. I had the privilege of meeting Chanty last year and joining in with a few other ladies that prayed weekly as part of the "Moms in Prayer Group" Click here for more information on this group and to find a local group near your schools.

Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.
Ephesians 6:18

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. James 5:16

Let's Play Some FOOTBALL!

It's hard to believe another year has come again and we are back on the field. Football, welp its no joke. Pre-Season is 5 days a week for 2 weeks and then you go to 3 days a week and a game on the weekend. Logan moved up to an older league this year and has adjusted well.

As a competitive mama, I love to see how focused he is during football

My "wild at heart" boy is growing up

The parents spend a lot of time together on the sidelines. I have enjoyed helping as team mom again this year. Perfect opportunity to talk with all the parents and get to know all the kids on the field.

We head out on Friday nights to watch the High School Indians play. We have so much fun at the High School games. We go as a family and we are soon surrounded by many people that the Lord has woven in our lives, cheering on our Hanna Indians. Breanna scoots away to be part of the student cheering section and to hang with friends.  We scream and yell and the kids always find friends to hang out with. Very cool for Logan to see his buddy CJ at Center too.

We love cheering on CJ #79!
memories in the making...the kids have so much fun at the games

Sweet 16

Billy and I had the same idea on Breanna's Birthday. We both rummaged through pictures to find a few baby pictures. Here is one that Billy posted on her Birthday and..

Here is the one I posted on her Birthday.
Most of the morning we ended up in our room going through picture albums and we were flooded with so many memories of watching this beautiful girl growing up.

Breanna's Birthday is so close to school starting and so it only made sense to surprise her early by taking her to NYC for her Birthday/School Shopping. So Billy took her for the day and they had a great time taking in the sights and shopping in NYC.

Enjoying Lunch and how in the world has she grown up so quickly?

a little rain throughout the day but lots of fun and memories made indeed.

Breanna asked for this particular cake she saw on pintrest. A messy and fun cake cake to make and more calories than is possible to calculate.

Mint Chocolate Chip Cake with dark chocolate ganache on top.
At the DMV taking her permit test!!! Yipers we have another driver in the HOUSE.
We all had a very fun time celebrating Breanna's Sweet 16 Birthday. She is a beautiful girl inside and out.

We are blessed to have her and can only wait in expectation on all the plans that the Lord will unfold in her life. A young lady who loves the Lord, pursuing righteousness, carries herself as one of God's created children with purity, modesty and spiritual gifts that are continually used for kingdom work.

My prayer for Breanna this year
Ephesians 3:14-21

Lord, please instill in Breanna a soul with a craving for You, a heart that clings passionately to You.
(Psalm 63:8)

May Breanna  “be strong and courageous” in their character and in their actions.
(Deuteronomy 31:6)

Mom's in Prayer Group- Food and Fun

We had a little get together with the moms in prayer group. We all had a great time as we spent time eating, talking and playing. I am so thankful for this group of ladies.  Click here for more information about Moms in Prayer Ministry. Most likely you can locate a group that is already gathers to pray for your school.

It was a great time hanging out and re-connecting with all the ladies. Looking forward to a great school year and our sweet time we will have praying together.

Baking Class-How SWEET

What an honor to provide a baking class for my friend Chanty's kids. It was the highlight of my day to invest and spend time with her and her 3 sweet kids. We had great conversation, fun and they took home some cake pops.

 Getting their hands dirty.

I am so thankful that the Lord has woven this sweet family into our lives. She takes every opportunity to pour into and train her children. Her and her husband planned several classes for the kids throughout the summer for people to teach them a new skill...genius! (I must bank this idea for next summer!)

If it wasn't enough to have the blessing of spending time with this family and baking in the kitchen, they gave me a little thank you note and homemade jelly. Very sweet indeed and I have kept the card  in my window seal to look at it often.
